Week 5

9 September
Stephen’s dad turned 100 today (he is very pleasant and has retained his sense of humor)! Some dear friends posted a sign on his door: “Hello, my name is Dr. Marc. I am 100 years old today (September 9, 2010). I have dedicated my life to healing the sick, befriending those in need and bringing lost sheep unto the fold of our Heavenly Father!!! If you want to wish me a happy birthday, just sign the bottom of this paper. Thank you!!!” Happy Birthday, Dad!

10 September

My little munchkins performing their ritual cleansing of the drawers.

11 September

These cars are poised for a quick getaway after the evening stake conference meeting, which was about raising righteous families.

12 September

This past year I have become involved in indexing. Here is a birth record from Jamaica: Record 1534, 26 Jan 1915, Josiah (male), no father listed, mother Urselina Clark (a labourer).

13 September

Stephen took me to Granny’s in Heber to get a milk shake (I stuck with my favorite raspberry flavor--any berry will do). The umbrella over the table outside provided a colorful canopy.

14 September

The clouds were breathtaking this morning—what a beautiful world we live in!

15 September

I love these larger-than-life, brightly painted, cheery flowers at Sunflower Market. I try to shop there on Wednesdays to take advantage of sales—the past week and current week ads are all good on those days.
