I’m not sure I was aware of the Freedom Tree east of the Martin Building dedicated to Capt. Robert A. Rex and all prisoners of war and missing in action in 1972.

This turned out to be a very different picture than I thought it would be. I took a picture of the Air Force runners at the fieldhouse track and came to discover that the wings on the back of their shirts were reflective, as well as the stripes on their shorts.

Stephen and I actually got to attend a BYU basketball game against UNLV—here is Jimmer Fredette shooting one of his string of successful 16 foul shots. And yes, we won the game. Jimmer is getting lots of attention for his basketball skills.

Leslie was one of the many sisters who came to my home for a visiting teaching interview. We try to do that once a year to learn how well they are working with their companion and how their sisters are doing.

Here is a cute invitation for Cayelle’s birthday party (which is later). She surely is a darling three-year-old.

I got the idea of taking a picture of my ingredients from a blog—here is everything ready to make a batch of whole-wheat bread.

Gloria, who is from Chile and teaches ESL, has moved in with us temporarily. She is a very lovely person, and we will enjoy getting to know her.
I guess this marks the halfway point of my 365-day quest to take a photo a day. I have to confess that I have missed a day or two here and there (but I have always included a picture for each day anyway). It is hard to remember to take a picture each day, but it will be nice to have a good record of this year!
